Getting Here
Most travelers find this easy to get to Fécamp by means of the train or car. The town owns its very own station, Gare de Fécamp, which is about a 15-20 minute walk or a short taxi ride from the hotel to Le Havre and connects the town up primarily and generally to Bréauté--Beuzeville mainline station, from whence they can catch direct intercity trains to Rouen and Paris (Gare Saint-Lazare). It is about 2.5-3 hours from Paris with one change.
If you come by car, Fécamp is easily accessible through a dense network of ‘autoroutes’ and national roads. A trip from Paris takes about 2.5 hours. The hotel is very easy to find: it stands along the main seafront road. However, note that there is very little private parking at the hotel, streetside being chargeable and rare at the best of times in the area, it’s especially hard to find a free spot in summer. Booking a hotel spot would thus be highly advisable.
For Overseas people, the nearest major airport is Paris – (CDG) Charles de Gaulle or (ORY) Orly. In case, then you have to take a train to Paris Saint-Lazare station to connect to the Normandy train network. Deauville – Normandie Airport (DOL) is another regional airport, about an hour’s drive and somewhat seasonal with some flights to the UK. Le Havre Octeville Airport (LEH) is another alternative within reach. A rental car or a pre-booked taxi is by far the best way to get to Fécamp from either of these. Alternatively, you could walk 400m from the airport terminal to the railway and get a train up to Yvetot train station, where one changes for Fécamp.
